  1. Thank you for trying VCR 1.0, the complete videotape library database!
  2. I'm sure it will fill your videotape library needs.
  3.  
  4. To run VCR 1.0 you must have the following:
  5.      - An IBM PC, XT, AT, PS/2, or 100% Compatible
  6.      - An IBM DOS 2.0 or higher operating system
  7.      - At least 512KB of memory
  8.      - A printer (assuming you want to print reports or labels)
  9.  
  10. Copy all of the files to the directory of your choice!  
  11.  -- OR --
  12. If you have a hard drive (C:) and want "VCR 1.0" to install the program 
  13. for you, then type a:\installA "Enter" if the program is in the "A" drive, 
  14. or type B:\installb "Enter" if the program is in the "B" drive. This will
  15. create the directory "C:\Video", and copy all of the files to that directory.
  16. You only have to install once. After that just go to the directory and 
  17. type "VCR" "Enter". 
  18. In order to use the install program you must have all program files on 
  19. ONE (1) disk. They won't all fit on a low density 5 1/4" floppy.

  21. NOTE: IF YOU ALLREADY HAVE A DIRECTORY C:\VIDEO, DON'T USE THE INSTALL 
  22.       PROGRAM. IT MAY OVERRIGHT FILES ALLREADY IN THAT DIRECTORY!

  24. This program has undergone rigorous testing and had no reported errors.
  25. However, I (Robert H. Bennett) shall not be liable for any damages, including
  26. but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
